We named our signature event Women Who Make It Happen for a simple reason. Change in a community is rarely made by one big moment. It is made by people who show up, again and again, and decide to do something about what they see.
The women we honor each year are teachers, founders, mentors, mothers, and neighbors. What they share is not a title. It is a habit of stepping forward when it would be easier to step back, and of opening doors for the people coming up behind them.
And here is the part we love most: everyone in the room is one of them too. Every guest who buys a ticket, every sponsor who gives, every volunteer who lends a hand is a person who makes it happen. That is what the night is really about.
