About Us

Our Story

Ready Set Dream Big was created by founder, Ronda Dillon, who experienced first-hand the power of a community coming together to help her reach her dreams. At a young age, her community and church saw her leadership potential and gave her the tools, training, and financial resources to explore new possibilities and utilize her God-given capabilities

All around the world, people possess unique abilities or skills that would allow them to soar but lack of knowledge, money, support, or resources hold them back.  Ready Set Dream Big Community Outreach was birthed out of the desire to pay it forward.  This organization will help  empower others to reach their dreams and overcome the difficulties and obstacles that have blocked them in the past.  So join us in our mission to help needy and deserving citizens reach reach their potential because it’s never to late to reach your dreams.

If we want to live in a better world, then it’s up to us to empower our communities and make it happen. –

Dr. Ronda Dillon

Ronda Dillon, is the Founder and Executive Director of Ready Set Dream Big Community Outreach, Inc.  This is a non-profit community driven organization dedicated to assisting under-served youth and adults reach their dreams through education, training and entrepreneurship. Raised in South Bend, IN, Ronda participated in community and church programs throughout the city alongside her mother, a social worker, and her grandparents, founders of Faith Baptist Church.

At a young age,the importance of education was encouraged and stressed in her household. After graduating from high school, Ronda moved to Louisiana an obtained a B.S. of Computer Science from Southern University, in Baton Rouge, LA.  Hearing that Atlanta was the “City of Dreams” she packed up after graduation and headed south excited about starting her new journey.  She is an IT Consultant, for Fortune 500 companies, and a Small Business owner in Real Estate development and property management.  She has completed her Masters of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University, in Kennesaw, GA and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Healthcare Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg, Lynchburg, VA.

In addition to operating Ready Set Dream Big, she is an active participant in multiple community service projects and a member of professional organizations throughout Georgia.  Her generosity spreads internationally where she volunteers in under-served schools and donates her time and resources to end poverty and promote education.

Her sense of community service was ingrained in her at an early age as she watched her mother create Urban League programs for young girls. At Faith Baptist Church, in South Bend, IN she watched her grandparent’s tireless efforts of dedication running church programs, like Joy Club, to unite the community and give kids a safe place to play.

When COVID hit in 2020 she saw jobs eliminated leaving her friends, family, and community with no path to earn a living due to their lack of skills. During her career she acquired invaluable experiences and knowledge and she wants to see more youth and adults exposed to the same opportunity. There is a great population of crime, social and economic issues in many neighborhoods; many minority youth are incarcerated or victims of senseless violence. She understands the importance of education and her desire is to be apart of the solution by helping others succeed in reaching their dreams. As a scholarship recipient herself she wants to give the same chance that was provided to her during her high school and collegiate years.

After years of contemplation,  the strong desire to start a non-profit organization to benefit  her community and others led to the formation of  Ready Set Dream Big Community Outreach, Inc. In December of 2021, her dream was realized and the non-profit organization became a fully formed 501(C)(3) with great support from her community, family and friends
